Hi, I’m Maria Rowecka, a registered tax agent, certified advisor and someone who genuinely loves helping people make sense of their finances.
I started TCBS Accounting & Advisory because I believed there was a better way to do accounting. Not just lodging returns and disappearing, but actually sitting down with clients, understanding their situation and giving them advice that makes a real difference.
At TCBS we specialise in tax planning and advisory for individuals and businesses. What that means in practice is we look at where you are today, where you want to be tomorrow, and find the smartest tax effective path to get you there. Small changes made at the right time can have a big impact down the track and that proactive approach is at the heart of everything we do.
I also believe that running a business should not mean drowning in paperwork. We work with you to streamline your processes and digitalise your records so that every document you need is organised, accessible and just one click away.

For Individuals
It starts with a free discovery call. We take the time to understand your situation and your needs. Once we know what you need, we set up a meeting, either in person at our office in Ermington or online. Whatever works best for you.
For Businesses
Whether you need help with bookkeeping, accounts, BAS lodgments, business setup or ongoing advisory, we build the working relationship around you.
For most business clients we like to start by getting our hands dirty. In the early stages we work onsite at your office (as often as needed) to get your accounts fully up to date and make sure everything is running smoothly. This hands-on approach is about getting to know your business properly, understanding how you operate and building a trust.
Once your records are current and the right systems are in place, we transition into a hybrid model that works around your day to day:
- Routine tasks handled remotely so we are never in your way
- Regular in-person meetings to discuss key matters, review performance and plan ahead
- Virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams or Zoom whenever it is easier
- A phone call when that is all you need
This structure keeps us closely connected to your business — responsive, proactive and always across what is happening — without disrupting your operations.
